Prior to joining LBH, Dave worked at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. (MLSE) in a business development position, where his high achievements led to his promotion to in-house legal counsel. As legal counsel, Dave gained invaluable experience working on team mobile applications, sponsorships, broadcasting and licensing agreements. Before MLSE, Dave articled at a leading labour and employment law firm in Ottawa, where his practice focused on collective bargaining, harassment and discrimination claims. During his second and third years of law school at the University of Ottawa, Dave was hired by the Oakland Raiders football club to work in their legal department. While with the Raiders, Dave was actively engaged in several employment law matters such as grievances, workers compensation claims as well as player contract analysis and obligations. Prior to law school, Dave graduated from McGill University in Industrial Relations and Economics, while working for the Montreal Alouettes football club in operations.
